X-RAY SERVICES

Medical Care, LLC uses digital X-Ray available in both our Elizabethton & Johnson City offices. Digital X-Rays are stored on our PAC systems (Picture Archive Communication Systems). Images can be transferred and viewed electronically to either office or to an outside radiologist / specialist for additional physician interpretation.

Medical Care uses Kodak ACL-5 CR readers and cassettes to capture the digital x-ray images.

Through CR technology the x-ray image is taken through the radiography modality onto a phosphor plate which is within a cassette, the cassette is then inserted into the CR system in order to acquire the image onto the computer.

KODAK POINT OF CARE (POC)

The Kodak Point of Care CR system is an affordable, single-plate Computed Radiography (CR) line designed for the full spectrum of clinical applications, including physician practices, clinics, imaging centers and hospital departments. Point of Care’s compact design makes it a versatile solution for a wide variety of digital imaging applications.
